How does one change a rating?
I made a horrible error, so bad that I don't want to give out the details. Now I can't change it.

Unk:
You should be aware that I am still very angry with you regarding your recent Nazi-like tactics on the Greenspun forum. If it weren't for the fact that I am assisting Martha Stewart in her upcoming legal defense, I would have more time to tell you exactly what I think of your draconian measures. As it is, however, I have my hands full. ;< )))
Suffice it to say that this will be my last post forever on this forum. I will never venture into these hallowed halls ever again. I'm done. Out of here. Finito. No more. This is the end. It's all over now. Bye. So long. Farewell. Hasta la vista. Which actually reminds me of a time when me and Arnold.......... oh heck, I'll tell you tomorrow. ;< )))
Best Wishes,,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.

I'm not in a good mood, for some reason, so I figured I'd post. I prefer this forum to Greenspun because: a] no one can use my name [and I really didn't like to look at Greenspun while I wasn't posting there and see posts presumably made by me], and b] People need to stick with the name under which they've registered [or go to the trouble of creating a new one]. I was a bit troubled when Lars said that TB2k was "Okay", but he missed being able to make a sarcastic comment under an anonymous name. I hadn't thought of Lars in the same way as Barry before that.

What is the BFD about making a sarcastic comment under a different name?
Get a life.

I'm not sure I have the UBB code correct above, but I'm a big fan of personal responsibility. IMO, taking another name to make a sarcastic comment is equivalent to speaking about someone behind his back.
Barry did this a lot on Poole's forum, but he didn't seem to know that a lot of us had the means to cross-track the posters. So, he spent a lovely time with folks from Unk's who thought he was wonderful, while "back at the ranch" he was anonymously posting about how fat people were, how stupid people were, etc.
You may have lower standards. Personally, I feel more comfortable when people speak what they think to my face.

Glad to see you made it over !
Anita, agreed. The fun anon's like zzzz make a forum entertaining. Changing one's ID with every post to spew endless venom with impunity do not. It looks like this forum software will leave behind the worst of the Unk's saloon trolling. I'm hoping it may actually infuse some life into the dialogue.

So Anita, according to Barry, who's fat and who's stupid?

I finally made it here. Turns out I was already registered as larsguy, same handle I use on TB2K.
